Partner Profiles
Ron Johnston, RLA
Mr. Johnston graduated from California Polytechnic State University,
San Luis Obispo with a degree in Landscape Architecture 1976. He is
both a licensed Landscape Contractor and Landscape Architect. He
began in the professional landscape construction industry in the late 70's
and obtained his RLA in the mid 90's. Ron brings expertise in analysis of
construction documents, construction observation, cost estimation and
cost control to every project. In addition to his professional experience,
Ron has been an adjunct professor in the Landscape Horticultural
Program at Merced College and is Past-President of the Merced County
Builder’s Exchange.
Mr. Johnson's extensive construction background in residential,
commercial, park and school projects combined with his design
credentials provides added value to client projects; enabling JDA to
meet client design objectives while balancing his/her construction and
cost objectives.
Gavin L. Davis, RLA
Mr. Davis graduated from California Polytechnic State University,
San Luis Obispo with a degree in Landscape Architecture 1996. He is a
RLA in both California #4479 and North Carolina #1372. In addition Mr.
Davis is a former adjunct professor in the Landscape Horticultural Program
at Merced College. He has also been CLARB certified.
Mr. Davis has a planning, design and technical background which
enables him to lead projects from site analysis/site selection phases
through the planning and design phase to construction documentation.
