About Us
History
JDA, was founded January 1999, in Merced, California to fill the
need for professional design services in the growing San Joaquin
Valley. Over our ten year history the Valley has grown significantly
along with JDA's sphere of influence allowing us to service clients
throughout California.
Our staff’s personal experience spans over forty years of living
and working in the San Joaquin Valley. Our professional
experience spans over thirty years on a variety of project types.
This experience allows JDA to provide our clients with a wide
array of services tailored to their needs.
Philosophy
Since its founding JDA has been focused on complete design
services from Master/Site Planning to Construction
Documentation. We feel it is critical of a design office to not only
have the creativity to envision the "big picture" but the ability to
focus on the "nuts and bolts" to translate the vision into the built
environment.
Technical Capabilities
JDA strives to stay current with the content and output demands of
our clients. We currently utilize Windows XP based systems with
Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD 2009, Autodesk Design
Review and SketchUp. We also leverage web based
technologies and data sources such as Google Earth, USDA,
FEMA, USGS to yield a depth of content and understanding of
project opportunities and constraints for our clients.
